The Baofeng UV-5RM tri-band tri-band radio is an improved version of the very popular UV-5R. The UV-5RM offers 8W power, a 1.77" TFT color display, AIR reception, a more powerful 2500 mAh capacity battery, and the option to set a password on power on and charging via the USB-C connector.
It can easily tune in shared frequencies on both VHF and UHF bands, AIR/marine frequencies, transponders, etc.
The antenna is 20 cm long and detachable. The antenna connector is a classic SMA-male. The Li-Ion battery has a capacity of 2500 mAh / 7.4 V.
PROGRAMMING
The radios can be programmed using a Baofeng USB cable (not included) and a simple program available for download on the dealer's website or in the "Documents" tab, or you can use Chirp-next.
