The Baofeng UV-82 8W is a compact and affordable dual-band radio that operates in both the VHF and UHF bands. Its biggest advantage is its rugged body and dual key (A/B) button.
The radio operates in the VHF 136-174 MHz and UHF 400-470 MHz bands. The antenna is 17 cm long and detachable. The station connector is a classic SMA-M (male). The battery capacity is 2000 mAh / 3.7 V.
Programming
The radios can be programmed using a Baofeng USB cable (not included) and a simple program available for download on the dealer's website or in the "Documents" tab, or you can use Chirp-next.
