In addition to complying with the European EN 166 standard, this product has also been tested to the MIL-PRF-32432 ballistic glasses standard. This is a rigorous standard that exceeds the EN 166 Category B strength requirements. One of the product's few tests for MIL-PRF-32432 compliance is the impact of a 0.15 inch (3.8 mm, 0.376 g weight) steel shard impacting at a velocity of 650 FPS (feet per second), or approximately 200 m/s. This product's parameters and approvals make it a safe choice.

Although the glasses meet current standards, they are not indestructible.
